Work. Life. Highland offers one-to-one supported employment for people across the Highlands who have a long-term health condition or disability and are looking to enter employment.
This service provides access to support from a qualified and experienced key worker, available to both clients and employers before recruitment and throughout employment.
The service is delivered on behalf of Work. Life. Highland by Enable Works, a leading provider of specialist employability support. They bring extensive experience in supporting individuals with long-term health conditions and disabilities into sustainable employment.
Enable Works delivers holistic, person-centred support designed to help individuals move into valued and fulfilling roles across the Highlands. Their approach includes:
• Client Engagement – getting to know you, your strengths, and your aspirations
• Vocational Profiling – matching you to suitable job roles
• Job Finding – identifying local employment opportunities
• Employer Engagement – working with you and employers to ensure appropriate support, adjustments and adaptations are in place
• In-Work Support – providing tailored support in the early stages of employment, gradually reducing as natural workplace supports develop
