Launch Pad is aimed at clients who are ready to start work but would like to do this through self-employment – an option which may best suit your particular set of circumstances, for example to fit around caring responsibilities, location or availability of transport.

Launch Pad is made up of two elements to help you achieve your goal of self-employment:

• Support to undertake accredited training and qualifications;
• Business start-up costs

To be eligible, participants need to be registered with the Highland Employability Service and be either:

• Unemployed or
• Working parents supporting children under 18 and in receipt of Universal Credit
